AI-POWERED DEPALLETIZING
RobotDepalr is the AI-powered depalletizing module that handles inbound pallets without rule-based programming. It identifies every product on every layer, determines the optimal pick sequence, and generates collision-free robot paths — for mixed-SKU pallets, single-SKU pallets, and anything in between. Powered by StackrBrain AI for intelligent pick sequencing across any robot brand and any gripper type.

COMPATIBLE WITH
Traditional depalletizing systems are built on rules. They expect a known SKU, a known pallet pattern, and a pre-programmed pick sequence. The moment your inbound pallet contains mixed products, irregular layers, or items the system has never seen, those rules break and the line stops. RobotDepalr was built differently — every product is identified individually by AI, every pick sequence is reasoned about from scratch, and every robot path is planned to be collision-free, no pre-teaching required.

INTELLIGENT PICK SEQUENCING
RobotDepalr does not just pick whatever is on top. It reasons about the entire pallet — which products are present on each layer, how they are stacked, what order they should be removed in, and how that affects the stability of everything that remains. The result is a pick sequence that is fast, safe, and respects the physical reality of the pallet.

DEPAL-TO-PACK AUTOMATION
RobotDepalr is the depal counterpart to RobotStackr OTF — and they are designed to work together. Combined, they create a full depal-to-pack workflow on a single AI platform: incoming pallets get unloaded by DepalR, and items flow directly into OTF for repacking into the target carrier. Roll cages, totes, customer pallets, mixed cases — whatever the outbound configuration, one integration handles both ends of the line.
“Traditional systems need two separate integrations. Viroteq does both — from pallet to carrier — with one AI platform.”

MIXED SKU RECOGNITION
DepalR identifies every product on every layer of an inbound pallet automatically — no SKU databases, no barcode lookups, no pre-loaded CAD models. The system reasons about each item from the live 3D scan, segments it from its neighbors, and classifies it in real time. Mixed SKUs, unfamiliar packaging, layers that change between pallets — DepalR handles all of it without operator intervention.
An inbound pallet — Euro, GMA, or custom — arrives at the depalletizing station, ready for unloading. No barcode scan or SKU lookup is required.
A 3D camera captures a point cloud of the current top layer of the pallet, giving DepalR a precise view of every product surface available to pick.
StackrBrain AI segments and classifies every individual product on the layer — even mixed SKUs and items it has never encountered before.
DepalR ranks every pickable item by accessibility, fragility, weight, and stability impact, then generates the optimal pick order for the layer.
For each pick, the system plans a collision-free robot trajectory that respects pallet geometry, neighboring items, gripper shape, and cell obstacles.
The robot executes the plan — picking, transporting, and placing the item. Once the layer is cleared, DepalR rescans and the cycle repeats from the new top layer.
Mixed-SKU depalletizing breaks every rule-based system. StackrBrain reasons about each product individually — it doesn’t need to have seen it before.
— Viroteq Engineering Team
Book a live demo and watch RobotDepalr unload a mixed-SKU pallet from scratch — no SKU lists, no pre-teaching, no rule editing. Our engineers will walk you through the full cycle: 3D scan, AI identification, sequence planning, collision-free path generation, and robot pick — using sample products that match your real-world use case.

The repacking counterpart to DepalR. Combine OTF with DepalR for full depal-to-pack workflows — incoming pallets unloaded, outgoing carriers built in the same AI-driven cycle.

Real-time 3D scanning that feeds DepalR with the precise point clouds it needs to identify products and plan picks. Most DepalR deployments use Vision as their primary 3D input.

The AI engine inside DepalR. StackrBrain is trained on millions of simulated scenarios and reasons about products, layers, and pick sequences in real time — for both depalletizing and palletizing workflows.
If your inbound pallets contain mixed SKUs, irregular layers, or products that change every shift, RobotDepalr replaces the rules with AI. Talk to our team about how DepalR fits into your inbound, cross-docking, or depal-to-pack workflow — and how fast you can be running on production data.
